Season of Sharing
It’s that time of year again – holiday music in the stores, toy commercials bombarding our favorite shows, and daily reminders regarding Black Friday and “Flash Sales!” in our emails. Time again to be thankful for all that we enjoy and share with others who are less fortunate.
Our Eagle Landing community is made up of very generous residents. This week features the Ladies of Golden Eagles Annual “Cheers for Charity” event at The Landing Bar & Grill, Tuesday, November 15th starting at 7pm.
With a wide array of fantastic donated prizes, raffle tickets are available for purchase – 2 for $10 or 10 for $20. Time to share a wonderful evening with your neighbors and friends – all for a great cause. You choose the prizes you’d like to win!
Drawings start at 7:45pm. Delicious desserts will be served as a thank you for participating. All proceeds go to Clay County children in need through the Salvation Army Angel Tree program.
The Athletic Center is also sharing in the spirit of giving with their annual “Salvation Army’s Angel Tree”. Just select an “Angel” from the tree and go shopping!
Stop by during normal business hours – weekday from 9am – 9pm, weekends from 8am – 7pm. Return your purchases to the Athletic Center the first week of December for proper distribution.
The Eagle Landing Golf Club is proud once again to be the collection site for the Marine Corps “Toys for Tots“ charity program.
Bring a new, unwrapped toy and deposit it in the collection box located in front of the pro shop & restaurant during business hours.
The golf club opens every morning at 7am and The Landing Bar & Grill is open until 5pm Sunday, Monday & Tuesday and until 9pm Wednesday through Saturday.
With your participation in any of these events or others of your choosing, know that you’re making a difference in someone’s holiday. And probably making a difference in your own.
